People who have heard their tale online have expressed great joy at the decision of a mother from the United Kingdom to raise her son with his adoptive twins as triplets.
According to the New York Post, Alicia Dougherty is a mother to ten children, six of whom are adopted, and the remaining four are her biological children. Dougherty also maintains a TikTok page titled the “Dougherty Dozen,” on which she posts regular updates about the activities of her fascinating family.
One element of a conversation that took place on the channel in which Alicia described how she is parenting her biological son with his adoptive twin siblings. Even though they are of different races and heights, those born in the same year as triplets have become quite popular.

Alicia gave the following response when asked by a fan about her “triplets” who had posed the topic to her:
“Our adopted twins and biological son were all born in 2014 and are all enrolled in the second grade. They have spent most of their lives being raised as triplets.
“If you tell them they’re not triplets, they will shred you to pieces,” said the person.
People on the internet naturally reacted positively to Alicia’s actions and complimented her kind nature. Meanwhile, the three lads have an undying love and loyalty.
One commenter said it “Doesn’t matter what skin color you are; you can see how much love they have for each other… triplets for life.”

Alicia reportedly revealed in the past to the publication The Sun how she had been made fun of on the internet because she had ten children. This is even though she has adopted six children, providing them with a loving home and a loving family. All six of her adopted children have behavioural disorders and suffer from Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders. She gave them all the love and support they needed (FASD).
The superhero mother explained, “People constantly commenting on my videos saying that they detest our grins.” Even though I may be partial, I believe that every one of them is correct.
“Knowing that we are worthy of being our actual, honest selves is the foundation of true happiness.”
“We are aware of the adverse effects. On the other hand, we ignore it.
“Because we are aware that it is the result of the anxieties and triggers of other individuals. It’s none of our business. It is their fault.
“I want to thank all of you who have checked in on us over the last several weeks, as we have been subjected to a significant amount of trolling by unhappy and insecure individuals.
“I assure you, things are looking up for us.”
When Alicia disclosed the total amount that she spent on the family’s weekly shopping trip, it caused several people to raise their heads. The New York Post reports that this includes 25 bananas, 12 pounds of chicken, and 191 bags of potato chips.
A massive grocery store like this one will earn back $1,094, or over $56,000 over a year.
Alicia maintains a consistent posting schedule on the Dougherty Dozen’s TikTok account to keep fans up to speed on the latest happenings in the lives of her family. At the time of this writing, the page has an incredible 168.1 million likes and 4.4 million people who follow it on social media.
Alicia and her spouse have earned great respect for creating such a warm and welcoming house, and I don’t care what anybody else has to say about it.
